I've always been fascinated by the 'why' behind the 'what'. You can read a company's annual report and see their revenue, their assets, their liabilities. But what you can't see is the spark of an idea that started it all, the late-night decisions that changed a company's trajectory, or the weight of a family legacy on a CEO's shoulders.
That's the space I work in. My job, as I see it, is to find the human story that drives the numbers.
For years, I've had the privilege of sitting down with some of the most influential figures in business and finance. My goal is never just to talk about their latest product or their quarterly earnings. It's to understand their mindset. What drives them? How do they see the world, and how are they trying to shape it? How do they balance the traditions they've inherited with the future they're trying to build?
